• Oversee application and network security while monitoring infrastructure, offering guidance to staff across departments. Engage with vendors to resolve issues and report to the Service Desk Supervisor. Receive assignments from both Service Desk and Technical Services supervisors, coordinating and prioritizing tasks.
• Manage multiple network resources, handle installation and maintenance of hardware/software, and document projects. Modify network resources for optimization under Senior Network Analyst’s direction. Evaluate, recommend, install, test, and manage new network products. Assess network capabilities for supporting applications, proposing solutions for potential issues.
• Lead monitoring and remediation of desktop vulnerabilities for a secure environment. Provide 2nd level support to the service desk in creating and maintaining secure desktop images. Assist in troubleshooting processes and mentor the service desk team in network technology.
• Evaluate hardware and software issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide Level-1 Service Desk support to system users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network infrastructure and security protocols.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide insights for continuous improvement of network efficiency.
• Associate’s Degree in related field, or 2 years of equivalent career experience. Hardware certification of any type, or Microsoft Windows and/or Microsoft Office certification, is a plus.
